BANGKOK, Oct 7 (Reuters) Thailand s industrial sector has suffered damages ​worth an ‌estimated 6 billion baht ($178 million) from floods that have swept through ‌parts ​of the ⁠country since last ⁠month, a Federation of Thai Industries official said on Wednesday. Despite ​disruptions, automotive assembly plants currently ⁠have enough ⁠parts in stock ​to continue production until ​Oct 12, FTI Secretary-General Panitarn ‌Pavarolavidya said in a briefing. Last week, the FTI s initial ⁠damage assessment of the flooding in the capital Bangkok ⁠and ‌14 other ⁠provinces stood at ​around ‌1 billion baht.
